For over three decades now, each year Andy gives a brand new talk at the Glastonbury Symposium ‘Expand Your Horizons’ event addressing key issues of the times with sideways views that are hopefully insightful and helpful in identifying areas generally ignored by mainstream thinking.
This year’s Symposium was another haven of broad-mindedness and camaraderie in a world of madness … which is why he titled his lecture there The World Has Gone Mad, But We Don’t Have To.
In this timely talk on the dark fairytale unfolding before us, Andy observes that the lunatics now seem to be officially running the asylum, international law has crumbled, AI is taking over, bullies get their way and fanatics are doing their best to bring about apocalyptic end-times in a world of paranormal weirdness and talk of imminent UFO disclosure – so we could be forgiven for shrugging and just deciding to go a little crazy as well. But as much of the world goes off the rails, maybe this is the very time we have to centre in, batten the hatches and hold fast ….
